At HLC Kids Academy, our classrooms are thoughtfully designed to support children through each stage of early development with care, intention, and plenty of room to grow.
Each classroom has its own rhythm, milestones, and personality, while still holding onto the same nurturing foundation that defines our school.
Minis
Our Nursery
Our Minis classroom is a warm, gentle space created especially for our youngest learners.
In these earliest months, so much of learning begins with connection. Babies learn through being held, soothed, spoken to, comforted, and cared for with consistency and love. Our Minis classroom is designed to feel calm, safe, and nurturing, with individualized care that honors each baby’s unique rhythm.
Throughout the day, our caregivers support development through tummy time, movement, sensory exploration, songs, books, and loving one-on-one interaction. We work closely with families to ensure routines feel thoughtful, personal, and consistent between home and school.
This is where trust begins.
Tots
For Our Walkers
Our Tots classroom is for children who are on the move and eager to explore the world around them.
This stage is filled with so much growth. As toddlers begin walking, communicating, and asserting their independence, they also need comfort, connection, and gentle guidance. Our Tots classroom balances all of that beautifully.
Here, children are encouraged to explore safely, build language through songs and conversation, engage in sensory and hands-on play, and begin participating in simple daily routines. The room is joyful and active, but always grounded in the warmth and consistency that toddlers need to feel secure.
This is where confidence begins to bloom.
Trimis
Our Explorers
Our Trimis classroom is home to our older toddlers — our curious, energetic, busy little explorers.
At this stage, children are becoming more expressive, more independent, and more interested in the world around them. They are learning how to communicate their wants and needs, engage with peers, solve simple problems, and participate more meaningfully in daily routines.
In Trimis, we nurture all of that growth through child-led play, language-rich experiences, music, movement, sensory exploration, and early opportunities for independence. It is a classroom full of curiosity, personality, and discovery, while still holding onto the nurturing care and comfort that children this age continue to need.
This is where curiosity takes off.
