Backup Care

Our Backup Care program is offered to children in Pre-K4 through 5th grade during the academic school year, from September through June. This program helps support families on days when schools are closed but childcare is still needed.

Care is available from 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM, with extended care offered from 3:30 – 6:00 PM. Two daily snacks are included as part of the program fee.

During the day, children participate in a well-rounded schedule that may include arts and crafts, free play, outdoor time when weather allows, and homework help as needed. Our goal is to create a safe, engaging, and flexible setting where children can enjoy both play and productive time.

Backup Care follows the HLC Kids Academy and The City School calendars. As a result, we typically provide care during holiday breaks and school closure days when local elementary schools are closed but our campuses are open.
